Yemen Chevening Hub is a Chevening alumni-led platform that brings together Yemeni Chevening alumni, scholars, and related community initiatives to support leadership, learning, collaboration, and positive impact in Yemen and beyond.

The idea of the Hub was first envisioned in 2021, inspired by the need to create a more connected, supportive, and impact-driven Yemeni Chevening space. The platform was later brought to life in July 2024 as a public initiative dedicated to supporting youth, strengthening networks, and promoting positive change.

The Hub aims to create a professional and supportive space where people can share knowledge, exchange experiences, build networks, and contribute to youth development, community resilience, and positive change.

The Hub's public work focuses on key areas such as capacity building, peace and stability, community development, and social justice.

Yemen Chevening Hub and its programmes operate under the umbrella of EduRise for Development.

EduRise for Development acts as the professional host organisation for the Hub. This means that the Hub's work is supported within a broader organisational framework that promotes responsible practice, public value, and professional standards.

This relationship helps the Hub operate with clearer direction, stronger organisational support, and a commitment to positive community impact.

Yemen Chevening Hub, as an independent platform led by a dedicated group of Yemeni Chevening alumni, draws its vision from the global values embodied by the Chevening Programme, including education, leadership, service, collaboration, and positive impact.

Yemen Chevening Hub is an independent community and professional platform.

It does not belong to any individual, government body, private entity, political party, ideological movement, or religious group.

The Hub exists to serve young people, support leadership and learning, and contribute to positive change in Yemen and beyond, especially in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.

The Hub's work is guided by public service, professionalism, inclusion, and a commitment to empowering youth through education, collaboration, and responsible community action.

Yemen Chevening Hub is an independent platform.

It does not claim to represent all Yemeni Chevening alumni, scholars, applicants, or any official Chevening body.

The Hub respects the Chevening name, identity, and values, and works to promote leadership, learning, collaboration, and positive impact in Yemen and other fragile or conflict-affected contexts.

Yemen Chevening Hub uses Chevening-related references respectfully and responsibly.

It does not present itself as an official representative of Chevening, the UK Government, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, or any partner unless this is clearly authorised.

The Chevening brand and official Chevening identity belong to the Chevening Scholarship programme and its official owners.

Members, volunteers, representatives, and anyone engaging publicly with Yemen Chevening Hub are expected to behave in a way that protects the reputation of the Hub and its community.

This includes:

• Communicating respectfully and professionally.
• Avoiding false, misleading, or harmful statements about the Hub, Chevening, partners, members, or the wider community.
• Avoiding the use of the Hub's name, logo, website, platforms, or reputation for personal, political, financial, ideological, religious, or unauthorised purposes.
• Making clear when they are speaking personally and when they are officially representing the Hub.
• Respecting the boundaries between personal views and organisational representation.
• Protecting the reputation, dignity, and trust of the Hub's community.

Yemen Chevening Hub aims to organise activities, events, sessions, and programmes that are professional, inclusive, useful, and respectful.

These may include guidance activities, knowledge-sharing sessions, networking opportunities, youth-focused initiatives, and professional readiness activities such as the MASAR Programme.

The Hub seeks to ensure that its public activities are aligned with its mission, values, and community purpose.

Any public partnership or collaboration should support the Hub's mission and reflect shared values such as professionalism, inclusion, education, leadership, youth empowerment, and positive community impact.

Participants, volunteers, alumni, scholars, and supporters should be treated with dignity and care. Personal stories, images, and contributions should be shared responsibly and respectfully.

Everyone connected to the Hub is encouraged to be thoughtful when sharing content online, using photos, referring to individuals, or discussing community matters in public spaces.

Yemen Chevening Hub aims to prevent misunderstandings, reputational risks, and future problems by promoting clear communication and responsible behaviour. The Hub encourages everyone connected to its public work to:

• Avoid using the Hub's name, logo, or platforms without authorisation.

The Hub believes that many challenges can be avoided through professionalism, clarity, mutual respect, and responsible communication.

While the Hub is connected to the wider Chevening spirit and values, it does not speak on behalf of Chevening, the UK Government, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, or all Yemeni Chevening alumni and scholars unless clearly authorised.
